Advanced Interpreting & Translation

This course is designed for students who wish to learn in-depth interpretation and translation techniques in order to work as qualified interpreting professionals. The course focuses on hands-on practice as well as learning the fundamentals of community interpreting. Students are able to use the knowledge and skills gained from this course to take CILISAT (Community Interpreter Language Skills Assessment Tool) or ILSAT (Interpreter Language Skills Assessment Tool), ultimately preparing them to function as a community interpreter in Canada.
